Steven obtained a Bachelor of Arts from Brandeis University, before receiving his Juris Doctor from Boston University School of Law. After law school, he became a Member of the Massachusetts Bar.   

Upon graduating from Law School, Steven became a Research Assistant at Boston University School of Law where he worked on a number of complex issues in IP Law. Steven continued expanding his experience dealing with IP issues at Black Duck Software, where he discovered a love for small firm settings. Subsequently, he joined the Volunteers Lawyers Project of the Boston Bar Association where he worked with clients on Family Law and Guardianship issues.

Steven's wealth of knowledge in Intellectual Property combined with his direct client engagement experiences makes him a valuable contributor to the Brown Brothers Law team.
